DID YOU KNOW THAT

The Community Council is trying to get City of Edinburgh Council (CEC) to keep the public areas in Queensferry to a higher standard. As far back as 1988 the Community Council was asking the same thing of CEC.

In 1975, before Queensferry became part of Edinburgh, there were 8 men employed to keep Queensferry looking good. Now there are only 7 men to keep all of Wards 3, 4 (which includes Queensferry) and 5. This is 25% of the total land area of Edinburgh - is it any wonder that Queensferry is unkempt!
