FORTH REPLACEMENT CROSSING

The building of a second road bridge across the Forth at Queensferry will have a massive impact on the people who live in the former Royal  Burgh,  both in individual cases, and for the community as a whole. Major concerns regarding congestion and pollution have been expressed by  people in Queensferry, and the Queensferry and District Community Council, together with BRIGS (the residents umbrella group) have prepared and co-ordinated objections to the plans as published. A 'Forth Crossing Bill' has been presented to the Scottish Government, and the final date for the lodging of objections was 26 January 2010.
