                                                          DISLIKES

Land access must be 1st priority if this scheme is approved.  It must be completed before any alteration to the site begins. Shame then the road access from the West is not shown.

Society Road is already nightmare to get along to houses = at least 90 cars.

Why is there no access from the West, closed gate nr Linn Mill.  Walker & cyclist could use this at present.

Access via Hopetoun & Society Road already a problem, especially when events on at Hopetoun.  Couldn't sustain any further traffic.

Access via Society Road very difficult already especially as now main access to Hopetoun House.

Access a big problem.  Traffic increase onto Shore Road excessive.

Shore Road access - very fast & busy road already.

Access to scheme is critical to success.  All four routes should be developed.

Access needs more thought - looks inadequate for likely traffic & S Queensferry residents will suffer.

Thoughts with regards to access along Shore Road (Blue Route)  1.  This road already congested.  2.  Cannot see how you can upgrade.  3.  Existing traffic is greater than the road can handle.  4.  Best option Green Route

Road access should not be through Queensferry.  Alternative to be from the West - off Bo'ness Road.

Concerns about the access into the Marina should be from the West.

Access routes using existing roads are unsuitable with little or no significant improvement.  New access via Western edge e.g. Motorola could improve.

All access routes go through residential areas.  Can an alternative from another direction not be considered?

Access - too many cars coming into hot spots in Queensferry from this development.

Access still major difficulty - junction at Plewlandcroft?  Buses & heavy marina traffic will struggle.

The possibility of using Shore Road for transportation of building materials clearer definition of access road and not Shore Road.

Red Route (Access) Too much traffic at times already.

I feel that road access and volume of traffic has not been fully thought through.

Traffic/access is a huge issue here.  Please deal with before it becomes a problem.  More access roads needed.

Green Route (Access).

                                ACCESS

                                                   DISLIKES CONTINUED.

Construction traffic using Society Road access

Shore Road access traffic already busy down the hill and along Shore Road.

Access through Hopetoun Road - Can't cope with traffic at the moment.

Yellow Route access through SSI.

Access big problem Shore Road too busy already. Red Route access very concerned about import of additional traffic along Society Road which is already heavily congested.

Access arrangements.

Access using Green & Yellow routes if possible - environment reason.

None of four proposed access options address real issue of access.  All depend on existing overloaded roads.  Should consider direct route from Echline down to Society Road.

Impact of in excess of 150 additional cars on Shore Road.

What about access from top of Echline to Cluffats and into West entrance.

Access - Green Route best.  Society Road needs traffic calming not more traffic.  No access from Hopetoun Road preferred.

If Green Route adopted a concern with proposed junction at Plewlandcroft.

Concern re access along Shore Road - you mention upgrade - very difficult to see how this could be upgraded/widened.  This road is already an extremely difficult road for us residents.

Access plans need to consider volume of traffic into South Queensferry and all local roads, not just around site.

The Green considered route does not just pass through grass.  This area is environmentally important.

Access plans poor try fifth option.  By new access from West.  Possibly via old Motorola area.

Existing access routes during construction in particular is inadequate.  The land on the old railway line is below road bridge is a wildlife preservation area and cannot be touched.

Red Route access not desired.

I dislike the access routes - why not consider access from the West.  I am very concerned about the impact on the locals, the infrastructure, High Street etc.

Even thinning Shore Road access no good.

Main access via Shore Road not a good option.

Road access along old railway but ……..???? Village etc. on approval).

                                     ACCESS

                                            CHANGES/IMPROVEMENTS

Will there still be pedestrian access from Shore Road if another access road is established.

Sustainable transport.  Consider location for city car club.

Road access will need further thoughts.

Access/egress from West of Q'ferry.

Road should come from the west.

Whilst considering traffic, make sure road improvements are adequate for a bus service.

Shore Road - if used as main route where will library traffic go?  How will elderly residents cross the road?

Public transport access - buses re-routed through area!

Access from west.

Is a single new access sufficient for a place that will attract considerable ???? / tour/marina traffic?

Access road down west side of Queensferry to keep bulk of traffic out of existing housing areas/school.

Improved quality of life for Shore Road residents.  Move access elsewhere and make Shore Road a cul de sac.

Red routes for housing.  Blue route for marina.  Green (in particular) & yellow routes would have severe environmental results - replanting is not an option on this site.  Past traffic impact analyses show that access point poor to dangerous.

Access needs to be sorted 1st, more public involvement in access issues & improvements on community.  How about improving western access ie. Linn Mill end.

Access roads - with additional vehicles of 1000+/day suggest access from Echline junction.

Society Road already unbearable - particularly when events on at Hopetoun.

Society Road already busy.  Plans do not show proposed road calming (20mph/speed bumps).

Access must be from WEST Queensferry roads available already too busy.

(Walking) paths down from Springfield/Chuffiet Road.

Congestion for traffic coming of railway.  Suggest access from Echline would like more information about houses so fine otherwise looks good.

                                   ACCESS

                                  CHANGES/IMPROVEMENTS  CONTINUED

Access must be thought out before development land is sold.  Access through SQ would exacerbate traffic.

Society Rd/Farquhar Terrace will need to be a clearway to allow access & ensure safety.

It would be nice to take account of cyclists and create paths which can be linked/follow the Shore.

Concern - improvement - crossroads for Hopetoun Road, Stewart Terrace, Bo'ness Road etc. provides potential danger added to this would be the proposed new considered route using the old railway track.  Its junction would be precarious to say the least!

Green access road best option.

The access roads for the flats are not sufficient as planned.  Across down the hill to the centre of the scheme is essential.

Road access concern - No to Society Road, No to Shore Road.

Could parking for Society Road/Farquhar Terrace be provided.

Possible access through site of special interest (the green route on the plans).

Not happy about Shore Road possibly being main access ie. Traffic volume etc.

Extremely worried about using Shore Road as an access point.

Shore Road is busy enough at the best of times and would be hard pushed to take the volume of traffic expected with new development.

Green access would be preferable to all the ???
