HOUSING                               BACK

                                                      DISLIKES

No real detail about residential development - how many flats/houses?  Diagrams?

Size of retail/commercial area (too big).

The display did not identify that the housing development also includes flats over the shops.  So more clarifying required.

Flats above the retail units.

The housing shown is only guess work and will depend on the developer - this has not been made clear in your plans.

It looks like priority is being given to the housing development and less space to Marina.

Housing plans seem rather vague - I suspect the true height and density is being hidden.

South Queensferry is already overdeveloped with housing, leaving little or no open space for people to walk or children to play without constant traffic.  Housing for more Council Tax.

Is the number of housing units capped?

Height of commercial units.

No detail of impact on neighbouring projects - height of flats - do they block view/overlook gardens on Society Road.  Housing there not even shown.

Excessive numbers of houses with resultant effect on local infrastructure e.g. health and schools.  Lack of joined-up thinking with regard to access roads and affect on existing residents.

While development still dependant on houses - plans for these still very vague.  Plans are only an estimate.

Height of units (housing) are concern.

Flats - within Marina development itself (not sure about that).  Too high - given proximity to bridges (World Class landmark).
